Inspired by the RNLI lifeboats we saw in Filey and the Titanic we have been learning about, we became boat designers and engineers! First, we carefully planned our boats, thinking about which materials would be waterproof, strong and able to float. We then built our creations and tested them on the water to see if they were successful. After our investigations, we evaluated our designs by discussing what we were proud of and what we would improve next time. We were so impressed with everyone’s creativity, problem-solving and resilience throughout the challenge! 🌊🛥️
