This afternoon 1C had their Great Fire of London workshop. The children enjoyed building their own Tudor Houses using wattle and daub. They worked together in teams to build the structures using sticks then added mud to strengthen them. We then talked about what materials would have been better to use to build a house in 1666 and they had a go at building their own. All of the children really impressed me with all the facts they remembered about the Great Fire of London!
