Over the next couple of weeks we will be learning to sign these Christmas songs in Makaton. Feel free to have a practice at home too!

No Pens Wednesday
Today was national No Pens Wednesday in schools. With a focus on oracy and speaking and listening skills, we explored all our usual lessons, but without any pens, pencils or keyboards! Take a look at some of our activities!

Count On Me song
This is a song we have been learning in class! Feel free to practice at home!
Steel Pans!
This afternoon the children have enjoyed a session with Jermaine learning how to play the steel pan drums. It was very exciting… and loud!
Making musical instruments out of recycled plastic!
Over the last few weeks, the children have been learning about the importance of recycling.
This week they made their very own music makers!
Year 1 and 6 carol singing
Today we joined forces with Year 6 for our carol service to parents and Mrs Stott. The children came in lovely festive jumpers and had huge smiles throughout!
A massive thank you goes out to all the parents and carers who showed up (and joined in with the singing). The children loved having you all there. I’m sure I even saw Luca and Isabelle’s adults singing without looking at the words!
